Nikola couldn’t be assed to care about it, since she had sworn out a guy once for trying to kiss her hand over the counter, and her boss had learned then there was a reason nobody else ever wanted to take the nightshift besides her and Phineas. “Little ears are present.”
He clamped his hands around Bob-Cut’s head, but lasted for only a second before she reached up, grabbed him by the wrists, and yanked him off of her. “You’re younger than me.”

It’s only a matter of time before the tiger breaks free from the cage as memories resurface and the ugly truth lurches forward to bite them. It’s only a matter of time before somebody so seemingly put together snaps. He bends for so long in the outside world and now Pomni gets to witness how Jax, of all people, begins to unravel.

Summary
When Tango’s organizational prowess leaves the Hermits one bed short at their rental home for TwitchCon San Diego, Gem and Pearl decide to take the short straw. While this does cause some unresolved tension from the charity trip to resurface, thanks to a certain Twitch jacket they figure it out and endeavor to make the most of the rest of their time together. Along the way, they get closer than they ever have, forget to be subtle about it, and mutually agree to ignore what might happen when they return home until they really need to.

She's tempted to do so, at least for the rest of the movie. Pearl will wake her up at the end of it, Gem's sure.

Canon Divergent AU where Mira and Zoey followed Rumi after her voice failed while rehearsing for the Golden Live Show. They find her on the rooftop with her patterns exposed.
Now, Rumi's patterns won't stop spreading, and she can't deny the connection she feels to the honmoon. She also can't deny how weak it seems to be getting. Gwi-ma probably knows they were about to seal the honmoon for good and has something planned. Something big that has every cell in Rumi's body vibrating.
