Summary
After the gun adventure, Jax locks himself away for a week as Pomni slowly crumbles without him, and so does their relationship after their fight. Caine, being the not-so bright AI, decides to create an adventure for the two of them to mend their rocky relationship. They end up stuck in a 3 week adventure in a suburban home, forced to reconcile their innermost feelings while... taking care of a baby???!!!

Summary
After Caine's violent incident where he tortured the circus members and got deleted, the system changed. Abel, the second Ai, takes control of the circus and rewrites the code to make it something different. Genesis City, a cyberpunk city that was intended to mirror the real world, at least according to Abel. You entered the system after the big change, and never knew of the original circus or of Caine. That is, until you find him dirty and powerless in an alley in needing of help. He convinces you to take him to Abel's Tower in the middle of the city, in his last desperate attempt to get his powers and circus back. How hard can that be?

You become intrigued by the ringmaster, Caine, with a hope of gently encourage him to make the circus more to your liking (and potentially find a way out). But you find yourself in a whirlwind as the relationship patterns you’ve experienced may have followed you in this universe too.
(The reader is a femme fatale cartoon lady [think Holli Would, Jessica Rabbit, Betty Boop] named Dollie. I imagine her as a blonde with Bettie bangs wearing pink, but I make descriptions vague so you can insert your own traits.)

While most of the members have come to terms and accepted everything that has happened to them, Pomni holds onto to the hope that something can be done to help those who have abstracted. She visits Jax daily, hoping to find a way to calm him enough to bring him back. Because if she can bring Jax back, then everyone can.

Summary
The circus isn't just a weird digital prison that makes everyone slowly go insane- it's a combat simulation run by an unstable system called "The Ringmaster Protocol" made by Caine. It makes every member forced into arenas where they must fight "Glitched Entities" to keep their minds from deteriorating.

As Pomni spends more time in the circus, her bonds with the others grow stronger. Everyone longs for connection, one way or another. But one thing that has not changed is Pomni's strong dislike for being touched. She won't ever voice it out loud, but everyone has known her long enough now to know it's definitely not at the top of her most-enjoyed things. Yet, Jax will still push it. Why? Because he himself hates touch as much as getting close enough to where people can see him for who he truly is. And it f[%$!#]s with him so badly to the point he's starting to doubt everything around him. A panic attack here and there isn't abnormal from him, in the privacy of his own room, of course. But, now they're occurring every night, and almost right in front of everyone. Jax has never felt this close to insanity, and it's scary to think that one more will be enough to push him to a place he cannot return.
