Summary
Jazz and Prowl are Paranormal Investigators.
They have been looking for evidence of the paranormal for years. The two of them investigated everything from aliens to ghosts. To Jazz's disappointment, they had never captured any real evidence. When their friend Blaster sends them reports of large figures seen in the woods and cars without drivers, they think it's another hoax. After all, everything else they've investigated had ended up being fake in one way or another.
Unfortunately, what they find is very real, and it makes them question everything they thought they knew about themselves. As their strange encounters keep happening, they can't help but notice impossible changes in themselves.

In the aftermath of his suicide, what remains of The Seven’s very own firestarter is taken, studied, and finally repurposed. Vought does not resurrect him so much as suspend him in an awful state between life and death, breathing without living.
Given how things hardly go to plan under the supervision of Vought, shadows begin to gather where they shouldn’t, stretching in directions that don’t match any light source. Almost as if correlated, the more Lamplighter is made to endure, the more those shadows thicken. Buried beneath layers of alien voices and borrowed power, there lingers the faintest suggestion that he is aware of what he has become.

The unintelligible automatic voice over the intercom was not helping him right now—rattling on about ‘this is not a drill-’ and ‘Subjects: L04-273 or Crow Father, L05-660 or Blood God, L04-851 or Spider Bite have breached-’ and many other names and subject codenames Tommy couldn’t recognize.
Tommy's head was spinning… 'Crow Father', 'Blood God', 'Spider Bite'? Who—or what—the hell were they?! Tommy scrambled over to the large white metal door of his room as he pressed his ear against it; the door was too thick for Tommy to be able to understand much about what was going on outside, but he could hear distant muffled noises. Then, one of the noises seemed to be getting... Closer...?
The slowly growing noise was slow rhythmic thumping, basically the whole room trembled slightly each time the thump occurred. Tommy's head was pressed against the cell door as he strained to hear what was going on outside and Tommy was not shaking- that was just the room shaking! Of course, a man didn't invest billions of dollars into a project like that without also hoping to get some personal satisfaction from it too. So Conner wasn't just Lexcorp's official hero. He wasn't even just Lex's special weapon for less than legal operations.
No. Conner was also Lex's bitch. And if he wasn't careful, that was all he'd be.

He's expecting it to go exactly like every other fight- with the bandits turned to stains under his mace- but the fight doesn't go exactly to plan. The bandits are carrying around a potion that Wemmbu doesn't recognize and now, it's contents are all over his shirt and soaking into his skin. This couldn't possibly get any worse.
Aka Wemmbu gets turned into a cat and runs into Manepear. Neither of them handle their emotions in this situation properly.
