Summary
Wang Lu and Xiao-hai participate in a joint training session (read: a glorified camping trip) and take the time to learn a bit more about each other and their respective sects. There's also a bit of fighting and socializing with the other disciples. It's fun for (almost) everyone.
Wang Lu considered just opting out of it, but Xiao-hai had already volunteered, interested in seeing how Lingjian ran things, meaning Wang Lu would be bored again if he didn’t participate. Besides, it could serve as a chance to increase his cultivation while the conference was ongoing, so it wasn’t too bad of a deal.Series
