Summary
When Dazai genuinely cares for the other agency members and makes them smile and laugh on multiple occasions. But no-one does that for Dazai because he’s always laughing and smiling. No romantic relations, just simple fluff and a bit of angst. Definitely a happy ending :]

Summary
It started with the clocks. They stopped working. They froze. Dazai knows time still exists. He knows. But somehow, he's ended up a prisoner of the Russian whose hands bring death to all but the one man who craves it, and he can't figure out how he got there.
Fyodor says it's because they're in his reality; Dazai doesn't believe it. But the longer Fyodor tortures him, the more he forgets who he was and becomes who he must be: a sinner, subject to the punishment Fyodor brings.
...And just when he starts to give in, something strange happens.

Summary
Nothing ever goes right for Dazai. Anything he wants to keep, is always broken and lost because of his awful, narcissistic lies. Friends, partners, even promises…
“I wouldn’t do such a thing tonight! It’s too beautiful out!”

Another lie. He just continues to live his life in vain, knowing full well it's a lie. A flaw. A mistake. A burden.

Inspired by all the “de-aging” fics out there that use time travel to deal with the trauma these kids went through (which I absolutely adore!) Time moves forward, and they can’t change the past, but it’s never too late to start to heal.

“You heard what I said, shitty Dazai. He doesn’t want you. Not a single one of them does, but I do. So you’re going to fucking stay here, because you don’t get to leave me again.”

Nakahara’s hand shoots out to pin him against the couch and stop his movements. “I know. Of course, I know that. But he owed me, and now he's fucking dead so you’re the one that’s going to pay on that debt. So, I am going to fucking keep you and when the times comes, I’m going to be the one kill you. You don’t have anything waiting for you out there, and you know it.”
Finally, Dazai stills. He tries to formulate a response, but he's not stupid, and there's no denying the truth. Slowly, he nods, and from above him, Nakahara grins.

Five years after Odasaku's death, Dazai is still living in the shadow of his ever-present grief. A yet another suicide attempt on the anniversary of his friend's passing brings an unexpected visitor to his apartment - his former partner, Chuuya. The events take place after the end of season 3. I kept Yosano's and Tachihara's backstories, but I refuse to deal with Fukuchi and the DOA. This is more of an exploration of grief, characters, and interpersonal relationships than anything else.

He wasn't expecting anything different from usual when he was admitted yet again. But a short redhead with anger issues had the potential to save Dazai from this monotonous torture.

Summary
Best friends is too simple a term to squash the entire dynamic of Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya within.
Sure, they’ve known each other since they were children, and they’re each other’s #1 on their best friend lists on Snapchat, and Chuuya’s been seen one too many times in his hoodies. People have also noticed how Dazai’s main muse for his volunteer hobby of polaroid photographer is the redhead himself.
But the pranks they pull on each other isn’t much of a ‘best friend’ thing to do.
Especially when one of the pranks get pulled so far,
That Chuuya is forbidden from seeing Dazai ever again.
