He opens the hotel door and starts moving. He feels the air howling in his ears as he is running through the hotel corridor, something he loved doing as a child. But now, he can't stop, won't. He feels the chill against his barely clothed body.
He can hear someone calling his name, faintly. But he is too afraid to stop to realise who it is. He is running from shame, fear, pain.
Running like this is something he knows too well, he did it many times when he was a young child. The memory of it is bittersweet, something he did when he just wanted to play and feel like The Flash or Superman. And then other times when.. well lets just say, he had to become hos own superhero - and it's in that memory he is living in now.
But Mikey does'nt remember who the tall man, is. He yelps and runs through a door to hide, realising he entered the stairwell. He starts running down the steps. All the while hos inner child is screaming to run faster, he hears Davids voice again
"Cariad, stop" - begging, pleading.
