Summary
Modern Winter Soldier AU where Bucky is a genie who became HYDRA's Asset.
When HYDRA found the Tesseract they also found a genie in a bottle. Knowing a genie's wishes are a trap that will turn and bite you, they used the power of the Tesseract to enslave the genie. It cost them three wishes but it bought them an Asset with power greater than any human and for 70 years they used him to work HYDRA's will on the world.
Until they lost him.
His bottle washes up on a beach and he's found by a new Master, Steve Rogers. Steve, horrified at having absolute power over someone, has a very different approach to being in control of a genie. While Bucky waits for his new Master to show his true colours they're trying to work out how to live with each other. Bucky doesn't trust Steve, Steve's friends don't trust Bucky, and no one realises HYDRA has not let their Asset go so easily.

Summary
Steve's rarely been touched in a way that didn't equate to some kind of hurt. The cold metal of a stethoscope against his frail chest or the sting of a needle drawing yet another blood sample, when he was a sickly child. The bone-shattering punches thrown by the neighborhood bullies on the playground, or by his own father at home, drunk and wild. His mother, weak and clutching at him as she grew more incoherent with the drugs as the cancer ate away at her insides. Touch was something he shied away from, something he told himself he just didn't want.
Except...he did. He just didn't know how.
Until he finds a flyer for a local "affection and intimacy services" program.
In which Steve learns how to become comfortable with touch, and there is one very good dog, and a slow-burn romance.

Summary
Recently retired alpha Steve Rogers finds adjusting to his new, quiet life...pretty boring. There's books to read, movies to watch, and paintings to paint - sure. But he finds everything is dull after committing to being a slowly-aging superhero for the last 70 years. His best friend says he should settle down and finally start a family, his therapist has started to agree (the bastard), but Steve's not so sure.
He finds a sudden change of heart as NICU nurse omega Bucky moves into the apartment next door. Steve is instantly smitten when Bucky brings over some baked goods to share and realizes he’s gone when he catches Bucky breaking down after a long shift. Cue a romance that ends in snuggling (healing) babies, the courtship of the century, and a mountain of stress-baked cookies (and the absolute bleeding heart that is Steve Rogers).

Summary
Even if Steve wanted to... pursue James, romantically, he doubts his interest will be reciprocated. James is young, and beautiful, just a couple of years out of university with his whole life ahead of him. Steve, who's more than twenty years older, divorced and cynical, with hair that's more grey than blonde these days and a body that can no longer keep up with the strenuous workouts he was so fond of in his younger years, isn't a good fit for him.
