"It was dark, cold, with an almost bitter feel to the air. As the witch stared down, her eyes widened in horror at a body cast in shadows. Scattered in the mud, a light glyph lay unused, and slightly covered with a purple goo, as well as different glyphs of other types. It seemed to be discarded, thrown to the side on the cold wet muddy floor.
Snapping out of her horror, she quickly ran to the slips of paper, slamming her hand down onto one of them. Her mind ran wild, screaming and begging that this wasn’t what she thought it was. As the paper coiled around itself and crinkled into a glowing ball, all of the voices were silenced."

She pushed the tears further to the surface as she nodded. "He lost his leg several years ago, my brothers provide for us and I take care of the home"
"Now isn't that beautiful folks? Such a sweet, gentle soul she is" Caesar claimed as the crowd roared while a tear rolled down her cheek.
They mindlessly ate up the story she fed them, the harmless girl from District 7 - who played the violin and smiled like the world wasn't about to end.
Perhaps because, in Johanna's mind, she'd already won.
