‘You don’t know how to play with a partner, do you?’
Blinking down at her from under the sweaty mess of candy floss hair sticking up at every angle where his cap came off, Gojō opens his mouth to argue. Utahime silences him with a tennis racket to the face.
‘From now on, we do this my way,’ she says, looking between his blue, blue eyes. ‘From now on, you listen to me.’
It’s hard to tell—he’s already red in the face from exertion—but Utahime thinks his cheeks darken. Grinning, he squeezes her fingers, briefly intertwining them with his in the moment before he lets them go. Sweeping his damp hair off his face, he swoops down to retrieve his fallen cap and sticks it on his head. Backwards, this time.
Utahime is pretty sure it’ll void his sponsorship agreement, but he doesn’t seem to care. Looking every bit the glorified jock he is, he plants his hands on his hips, leaning down to meet her gaze with a secret smile playing on his lips.
‘Yes, ma’am.’
When it turns out the world No. 1 is terrible at teamwork, Utahime realises he’s going to need some training if she wants to take home the title.

“Actually,” Satoru starts, tipping his head to look at where Suguru’s settling back in his corner of the practice room, legs splayed in front of him. He hums in acknowledgement, phone screen a gentle blue illuminating the contours of his face. “I was thinking about practicing Sugar since it’s been a while since I performed it. Wanna help out?”
Suguru doesn’t move, but Satoru spots the way his fingers pause their scrolling, the way his body jerks slightly, the way his eyes drift up, peering at Satoru through his lashes. His expression becomes unreadable as he blinks slowly.
“I thought you were doing solo choreo this tour,” Suguru says just as slowly, painfully still.
“That was the original plan,” Satoru sighs, nails tapping against the counter as he schemes. “But you’ve seen the fans. You know how much they love the pair choreo. Well, most of them anyway. There were also the crazy people that think I’m dedicated to them and that dancing with Utahime was a sin. We don’t think about them though.”
“Mhmm,” Suguru huffs, and Satoru watches the way his eyes flicker.
