Noctis found out that Astrals do not share the same concept of love as humans. That Bahamut could never understand why he would fall for the Accursed, his and his family’s sworn enemy. Noctis didn’t know it himself but Ardyn was made for him.
Why would he not take what was made for him? And love that person to pieces regardless of his sins. Luna had said that was the most selfless she had ever seen, especially coming from him.
But he was never to have children with Ardyn.
Or so he had thought
