He was staring at her with a piercing gaze. Hermione didn’t want to play his game. If he was asking, there must have been something he wanted from her. “What would you like?”
He smirked, tapping his fingers on the armchair. The muscles on his forearm flexed, making the tattooed snake move.
“Maybe many things. Or maybe nothing. What’s your and Weasley’s favourite sex position?”
His expression didn’t change. He looked at her as if he’d asked her a normal question, about the weather or her favourite book.
“What?”
“Don’t pretend you didn’t hear me. In. What. Position. Does. Weasley. Usually. Fuck. You?”
“None of your business.”
“Yeah? And here I was, thinking you wanted my help…”
“If I answer you, will you help me?”
“Dunno.” He shrugged nonchalantly. “Maybe?”
Hermione clenched her fists. The Germans had the perfect word for a face like his. Das Backpfeifengesicht. A face that’s asking for a slap. -

Summary

Summary
Blaise felt the edge of the feather he was thumbing in his pocket prick against his finger. He winced a little at the sting, but set his jaw.
“One more thing.” He pulled the feather slowly out of his pocket, flinching slightly at the expression of despair crossing Hermione’s face at the sight of it.
Instead of the brilliant white, almost translucent appearance of a typical Veela feather, the one in his hand was black—so entirely dark that its absence of colour almost seemed to suck the light from the room.
Hermione’s lips parted in wonder. “Is that…?”
“Like I said—it is an exceptional situation. Singular.”
She reached out her hand tentatively to hold the feather. Blaise’s heart was pounding—with anticipation, with the sorrow he would continue to hold secret inside himself, with the grief he had to avoid at all costs.
“Will you help him, Hermione?”

Set in the Black Forest, Draco has sequestered himself after the war, losing himself to the monster within. Only one person can save him. The question remains if Hermione is strong enough to pull him out of the darkness before he drags her down with him.

Summary
Continuation of Draco Malfoy and the Case of the Brighton Beach Butcher.
The story picks up where it left off with Hermione and Theo still connected to the sinister rings once used by the Butcher.
Theo and Hermione are cooking up minor miracles in the Lab in order to sever Hermione’s bond from the ring without harming Theo’s soul. Harry and Draco are trying not to murder each other while investigating a rise in illegal potion overdoses and unsanctioned duels with big players turning up dead. Blaise is considering hanging up his velvet smoking jacket for a redhead who has stolen his heart. Probably Aggie & Winnie will make an appearance. Also Crooked is there.
