Summary
On a particularly rough week, Joker sprays Batman with a mysterious gas in one of their chases. Although Batman declares it to be just pepper spray, Robin can't help but feel something is wrong and soon notices an odd change in his mentor's attitude and behaviour as time goes on.
Will he be able to save him before it's too late? What unconventional allies and unexpected truces await him?
OR
After being exposed to one of Joker's gas, Batman's attitude and behaviour takes a turn for the worse and although Batman dismisses his protégé concerns by a mere scanner's result which declared the gas to be just Pepperspray and he refuses to do a full body check up; Robin can't help but feel something is wrong and eventually takes the matter into his own hands to check if his mentor was truly unscathed or is it just him only to make a horrifying discovery.
The story shall delve into what truly broke the Dynamic Duo apart and for Robin to leave Gotham along with their later reunion!
[This story takes place in the Teen Titans (Animated Series) verse.]

Damian’s prone body lay beneath it.
The sight cracks something within him.
“Release him,” Batman snarls. The entity only cements himself more firmly in front of his son, nearly blocking him from view. The growling grows. Nightwing unsheathes his escrima sticks.
Thick tension settles among them. The entity’s glowing green eyes flicker and in that moment, Batman acts.

Damian has been missing for two days after looking into an organization named the GIW. Batman's only lead is an escaped ecto-entity who he believes kidnapped his son as a hostage. When Nightwing and Batman finally find the entity, they will do everything in their power to bring their boy home.
