Grian won Thirdlife.
Sure it was against his will and he hated it, but he won.
And now that he's had his win, he's going to make sure Scar does too. And he'll do whatever it takes to make it happen.
OR:
Ren’s expression faltered, raw rage leaking through the cracks, “Watch your tongue. You were not there–you did not see what that murderer did to my Hand. Martyn did not deserve that slow of a death, no man does.” Ren took a deep breath, glowering in Grian’s direction. “A man deserves to die quickly and with respect, my friend had none of that. Your kind disgusts me!”
Ren adjusted his stance again, hiding his weak points, but Grian had already seen where the man was struggling.
“My kind?” He laughed, raising his sword to point it at Ren, “You sent your people to steal the life of my partner! He was alone, he died with no respect and no one to help him! You shot him in cold blood and let him bleed out alone! What does that say about your kingdom?”
Ren didn’t answer him then, glancing down at where Grian presumed Martyn had died.
“It says that we are both scum. But us at Dogwarts are just better at hiding it.”

“Oh Gods-” She managed to get out. Tyler smiled as much as he could, giving her a reassuring glance.
“I’m so-” “shut up.”
Ashlyn almost choked on air at being cut off, staring at a snickering Tyler in front of her.
“Don’t you dare say you’re sorry one more time. It’s not your fault.” He said with as much power as he could muster.
“But-” Ashlyn started just to be cut off again. “Not your fault.”
“Tyler please.”
“Not your fault, carrot-top.”

Summary
Ashlyn Banner just moved to her new town. She is going to a new school, knows no one, and on top of it all is very anxious about the whole ordeal. She meets a boy named Logan on her bus who introduces her to his friends, Taylor, Tyler, Ben, and Aiden. Before the whole introduction, Ashlyn met Aiden and he showed her where her class was. They all became fast friends and welcomed Ashlyn into their found family.
After school Aiden is rushing from a girl, seemingly trying to get away from her. He spots Ashlyn and uses her as a distraction to get this girl away. It ends with him kissing her. Sadly (or not), his parents, who came to get him, spotted the two. They agree to fake the relationship, as it would benefit them both in different ways.
OR: Aiden has a stalker and fakes dating Ashlyn to free himself from her and his overwhelming parents!
This is an alternate universe where they are just normal kids going through life :)
