Summary
Tim Bradford is back in L.A. on leave—just long enough to finalize a long overdue divorce, help his sister get out of a bad marriage, and maybe catch up with some old friends. He doesn’t expect to wake up in a motel-8 bed with a pounding headache, someone else’s wallet… and a marriage license.
Lucy Chen doesn’t remember saying "I do," but she definitely remembers the tequila. Now she’s racing to work without her car, keys, wallet or dignity—only to find out her mystery man is not only real, but standing at the front desk of her precinct... with her missing stuff and a very awkward smile.
What starts as a frantic attempt to undo one blurry night turns into something a lot more complicated as Lucy gets assigned to protect Tim’s sister and her two young sons. Between forced proximity, legal chaos, and unexpected chemistry, things start to shift—from "accidental spouses" to something more.

Summary
In Camelot, it is a well-known fact that the heirs to the throne are utterly, hopelessly enthralled by their servants. It is a _less accurate_, but far more entertaining, rumor that the prince and the king's ward are secretly entangled themselves—or that their servants perform… other duties best left to imagination. What is _rarely acknowledged_ is that nearly everyone in the castle suffers the same affliction.
While Merlin and Gwen inadvertently charm everyone in their immediate vicinity they are both far to busy with other matters to understand this and are consequently very lonely. Perhaps that is why pretending to court one another seemed like the only sensible solution at the time.
