It was becoming a problem… Or so he’s been told. Jisung had always had an infatuation for anything cute and fluffy, decorating his space with anything plush and comforting, abandoning conversations to sprint toward the timid strays hiding under cars to prove his cat whispering abilities. You could argue that it’s simply in his nature. He never stood a chance against Leebit.
Confronted once again, he finds himself defending his shrine. His quiet obsession has spiralled out of control, a fortress of white fluff engulfing his nest, spilling over into the communal areas of the apartment. As strange as his nesting behaviour may seem, Jisung takes comfort in knowing his guilty pleasure will remain a secret - Minho will never know.

It’s been so long since Jisung had an anxiety attack. So long, that when he hears the chime of the door and looks up, his body doesn’t react like it should.
“Welcome,” he says on autopilot.
“Hi hi,” says the man entering the store, putting a hand up in a casual greeting before making a beeline for the snack aisle.
His whole body is covered in blood.

“I promise I’ll call if I need help. Now, go. What is he going to think if he walks in and smells you all over me during my heat?!”
“Don’t worry. If he runs away, we’ll know it wasn’t because of your personality this time” Seungmin said with a wink.
Minho huffed, rolling his eyes as he swung the door open.
And stopped dead.
“Oh, fuck - ”
The scent of dark, rich chocolate hit him like a punch, thick and intoxicating. His mouth went dry, pupils dilating as his eyes snapped to the alpha standing just outside. Gorgeous. That was the first thought that registered before his brain caught up.
”…you.”
Jisung stood there, one hand raised mid-knock, his brows shooting up comically high as his wide eyes flickered between Minho and the six alphas practically pressed behind him. He leaned back slightly, glancing at the apartment number beside the door as if he wasn’t sure he was in the right place. Then his brows furrowed before a slow, cocky smile tugged at his lips.
“Oh, damn. Should I have brought backup too?”

Heart rabbiting, Minho peels his hoodie away from his chest and peers down, because surely he forgot to take the alpha’s shirt off this morning, and that’s what he’s smelling—but he has no such luck.
He’s going crazy. He must be. He’s imagined smells before, the most random things at random times, but he’s never sensed them this vividly, like he could reach out and touch the alpha, taste the chocolate and orange all the way on the back of his tongue—
Minho chuckles quietly to himself, humorless, maniacal. This is simply not happening.

Summary
He’s heard that it takes at least six months before the mating bites fade if it’s done outside heat. There’s no assurance since a bite is naturally permanent, but there are cases that it happens even with bonded couples; that’s why there is a sort of renewal biting, or so if Jisung remembers correctly. Severing, on the other hand, can lead to permanent damages to both parties, so Jisung is not considering that.
Still, six months is long.
That’s half a year that he has to spend time with a stranger, potentially for scenting, that Jisung has to endure—he doesn’t even know what the alpha looks like, for god’s sake.

He's intimidatingly serious, private by nature, and difficult to read.
Maybe Jimin's presence around the manor can convince him to indulge.

Summary
Not once in his life has Minho not followed the rules, not done whatever was expected of him without any complaints.
Forced to come out to his parents under unexpected circumstances, he asks Han Jisung to be his pretend boyfriend. The only issue is that Han Jisung is an annoying little shit with some sort of attitude problem, who cannot seem to stand Minho in the slightest.

Minho wishes he could see the thread linking Grandma to her other half, but it is something that only soulmates can witness. Once, she told him once about how it looks like one of the knots she crochets; she picked up the yarn, as red as her string, and showed him the split knot, placing it perfectly on Minho’s right pinky and told him; “this is what mine looks like.”
As an adult, Minho still wonders what his thread would look like, but he is not too hopeful that he will ever find out.

Another nod. This one felt shakier.
“And the third rule.” Minho leaned forward, his elbows resting on his knees, his voice dropping lower. “When it starts, you’ll pretend you haven’t agreed. You’ll pretend you don’t want it.”--------
Jisung finds himself drawn deeper into the intricate game he shares with Minho, where anticipation and surrender intertwine. As each night unfolds, the line between control and desire becomes increasingly impossible to define.

“I don’t have much to hide,” Minho says. “And I’ve always wanted to try this wine.”
Brow still crinkled, Chan continues to stare at Minho. “Who are you?”
“I’m Lee Minho.” He says this with the most deadpan voice he can muster.
Chan snorts. “You know, I asked around about you.”
“Like actually asked around? You didn’t just go on Naver?”
“Naver? What’s—” Chan shakes his head. “Never mind that. They said that you run the best magic shop in the city, that you’re smart and reliable, but that you’re also hard to predict.”
“We also ship worldwide,” Minho adds.
Minho captures the interest of the king of demons. He's not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Summary
Jisung would be lying if he said he wasn’t always curious about Minho’s job. On a drunken night many many months ago, he got so curious that he asked Minho to tell him about some of the scenarios they’re asked to act out and Minho proceeded to tell him about a scenario many customers ask for that’s set in a hot spring where one of the guys offers to give the other a massage and it escalates from there.
It doesn’t really escalate. They never do stuff that might cause them indecency charges out in the open in a random café in downtown Seoul. But Jisung’s mind wandered, and his imagination sparked, and his brain was haunted by flashing images of Minho in a hot spring, giving, or receiving a massage, and things escalating, really escalating from there.
He never asked about his job after that.- - -

Summary
There’s not much to do in a humdrum seaside village like Jisung’s. He’s used to making his own fun, listening to travelers’ tales of distant lands and fantastical folklore. When he overhears one such traveler whispering to the local barkeep about his encounter with a Mer at a nearby seacove, Jisung decides to take it upon himself to investigate; surely acting on the whimsical account of a stranger is a more engaging pastime than daydreaming listlessly till the end of his days. What he doesn’t expect is to chase after and actually *find* the very Mer described in the traveler’s story--and he soon becomes certain he’s not the only one of them that’s chasing.
