Summary
A board creaks somewhere in the house, but he pays it no mind. This house is not by any means old, with its square, polished design and the best security system money could buy, but boards act up on their own all the time. It has nothing to do with the fact that he has not activated the lockdown system, but it has everything to do with the bear traps situated on the left side of his wide bed, carefully set up under the covers.
One wrong move and he could kiss his arm and leg goodbye. Luckily for him, he doesn't plan on moving.

Andrew and Neil love each other in the way that makes sense to them. And if it takes stalking, torture, murder and—on a few memorable occasions—kidnapping to prove it and keep each other safe, then so be it.
It's unconventional, but it's them. It's a pity others don't see it as such.

Nausea was clinging to the roof of his mouth as he – in both extreme repulsion and misplaced intrigue – continued to watch Josten simultaneously attempt to burrow into his brother’s lap, humming all the while in the weak imitation of the purr his furry counterpart was so well versed in.

Summary
Neil Josten, age 19, born in Millport, a striker, a mosaic of expertly dyed brown hair and colored contacts, is a good old wolf disguised as a sheep. Too fast to be anything but a runaway, too twitchy to be anything but a rabbit, and that knowing glint darkening his fierce scowl? Oh, he doesn’t like that one one bit.
Andrew is presented with a puzzle containing a plethora of contradicting pieces, and they are all flashing red. Just who is Neil Josten?
He loves a good game. May the worst one break.
"Better luck next time,” he flashes a two-fingered salute and allows his smile to spread to the point of ripping at the seams. An entertaining image, that one. Maybe the sight would discourage Kevin from flying across the country in search for another lapdog. Josten should bark to prove him right.
"Fuck you," Neil says instead, because he is no fun. "Whose racquet did you steal?"

Chat is nose to nose with him now, frosty breath ghosting over his mask and nose. He reeks of harsh winds and the singe of electricity with subtones of ocean salt and insanity. Andrew’s olfactory senses want to recoil and curl away from the smell, but he stands his ground, heart vacant.
“And you think I’m interesting,” Chat whispers, his miraculous flashing silver as he reaches for Andrew’s pierced ears. Two parts of the moon meet in a tremendous boom that goes ignored. His yoyo is scorching, and the tail trailing up his hip is gentle. “I still need a yes.”
