Alastor pauses at this, eyebrows pinching in confusion and looks over at Lucifer breifly before continuing to fuss over the dinnerware. Clearly not registering how close the fallen angel had gotten.
"Charlie?"
"Yeah. When she was like really really young, my usual form frightened her. So I took a smaller, less threatening form for her. Something that would be more... approachable. She liked it and Hell didn't really seem to care so it just kinda stuck and I never really had the urge or reason to shift back."

When Lucifer had asked what hobbies Alastor enjoyed earlier that day, he hadn’t expected this to be where the night would lead. Especially considering every previous iteration he’d seen of the demon’s art had been little more than chicken scratches.

Summary
The buck is presented to him, a tall, dark thing forced onto his knees, legs splayed to present his oiled cock standing firmly at attention. His balls pool on the carpet, and Lucifer wonders, absentmindedly, if the skin there will feel like the velvet on the deer’s antlers.
Lucifer lets his gaze trail upwards and his eyes linger on the gold painted across the deer’s chest. It’s a design meant to lure one’s attention to the sinner’s nipples, where pearlescent white clamps hang heavy.
It’s not quite what he envisioned, but he didn’t know what to expect either. He always thought that it’d be a lot less ceremonial, a lot less… intimate. The Overlord of Cannibal Town has done well, however. He was right to have chosen her for the task.
Once Lucifer becomes the buck’s master, there would be no more of this false pretence.

Had Alastor been told that he'd one day pose nude for a painting done by none other than the King of Hell, he likely would have ripped them to shreds and consumed every part of them for thinking such a thing. And yet, after a precarious deal for his own interest, Alastor finds himself in such a situation.
Had Alastor been told that his sensitive secrets would be announced to the populace of Hell, he might have avoided getting involved with the King of Hell. And yet...

No matter what, this story was out, and it would spread fast, considering the reach of Alastor’s broadcast and the fact that Vox listened to it obsessively. There was nothing he could do.
Lucifer wished his magic could turn back time. Could take the words 'Come on down to bed, Al,' out of everyone’s minds and pull the sound back through the radio waves into his big, stupid mouth."
Or, all of Hell heard Lucifer call Alastor down to bed. What's a devil to do to fix his mistake? Well, apparently...whatever this is. (Alastor vetoed Plan A.)
