In the world of professional figure skating, you're either on or you're off. Harry's coming off a Senior Grand Prix win, Louis is coming off an ankle injury, and they've been rivals since they learned to skate. With the world waiting for what Harry will do next, and with Louis fighting to be a contender again, they're testing every limit they have, including their limits for one another. They're either going to destroy one another or finally get over the years of hatred. Either way, Harry has a feeling things are about to get messy.

Summary
When Harry arrives at Camp Half Blood as a clumsy and terrified 12-year-old, he has no clue what he's doing, just that he really wants to be friends with this Louis kid. Louis has been at camp for five years when Harry shows up, and he still doesn't know who his godly parent is. Everything Louis does is in hope of catching his dad’s attention. Everything Harry does is in hopes of being enough.
The story picks up in the Percy Jackson universe after the Titan War and right in the middle of the conflict with the Giants. Louis is one of the demigods left behind to defend the camp, and Harry just discovered he's a demigod.

Summary
Their rivalry begins like this: they’re teenagers, skating the same circuits, competing in the same competitions. What happens is that they compete against each other for the novice boy’s title in the North Atlantic Regional Figure Skating Competition and they both somehow tie for first place. There are no ties in competition, but their scores are identical across the board.
Steve hates that Bucky took his win from him and Bucky hates that Steve thinks he won instead of tying, like the results said. The ensuing verbal scuffle had cemented what would come to be a slightly unhealthy long-term skating rivalry.
The intervening years don't help.

Perennial rivals since childhood, Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes face off against each other to achieve their Olympic figure skating dreams. But when bad luck and bad falls get in their way, Steve realizes there might only be one way to make it to Wakanda after all.
It's reckless and it's definitely incredibly stupid, but to win Olympic gold, these two enemies will need to come together as a pair--on the ice and off.
