Summary
It has been nearly two years since ZongaZonga’s resurgence and subsequent fall, and while the Caliosteo Fossil Park has returned to normal and many have moved on, the memories of what happened haven’t left the minds of those who directly experienced the wrath of the king.
Rupert, son of the FossilDig CEO, has been affected the worst by the incident. After having his body possessed and watching his friend Dina struggle to fight the monstrous king on her own, he’s found it hard to shake the nightmares he keeps having.
But no one knew about his struggle. That is, until now.

“You still seem…off. Want me to walk you to your room?” Eiden rests the back of his hand on Edmond’s forehead, reminiscent of all the times an adult did so for him when he was younger and feeling ill.
“I suppose it wouldn’t hurt.” Edmond’s sigh is deep and distressed. “I haven’t felt quite right ever since…that incident.”
Meaning the time everyone thought he was pregnant. Eiden raises an eyebrow but says nothing else. There’s something Edmond isn’t saying. Usually Eiden would press him on it, but for some reason, he feels awkward about it. Instead, he puts an arm around Edmond’s waist and gently steers him toward his room.

Maybe there’s something in the water, but whatever the reason, Eiden suddenly has a situation on his hands. Or more accurately, 8 situations.
