Summary
Henry doesn't want to admit it, not even to himself, but he's terrified of thunder and lightning. He knows it's stupid and irrational - lightning can't get him in the shed, and thunder is nothing but a sound - but he just can't help it. He hates it, not just because the terror it puts him through but the shame he endures as an engine scared of something so harmless.
One stormy night in Tidmouth, when the thunder and lightning prove too much to handle, he's comforted by the last engine he'd expect. Or perhaps, it isn't so unexpected after all.

Summary
After the seasonal holiday rush concluded, work loads were beginning to return back to normal. Murdoch had taken a rest near a snowy field, but after he left, every engine he met suddenly seemed to come down with a case of the giggles. Murdoch can't understand why, and his irritation grows with each bark of laughter. Can he figure out what's gotten into everyone?

Summary
A shared job between Edward and James takes a horrific turn when Edward is the victim of a horrible accident. An accident so horrible that he's sent to the steamworks with no way to know for sure if he'll make it out okay. The engines are met with the possibility that he may be beyond repair, where there could be no choice but to scrap him.
With Edward's fate in the air, his friends are left to deal with the extreme emotions that anyone would go through at a time like this. No engine has quite the same experience. Whether it be a growing frustration at the world, an insistence that everything will be fine, or a desire to work harder than ever. No one's getting out of this in one piece.
OR, I inadvertently made S21's "Springtime for Diesel" but it's Edward instead of Daisy, and arguably a lot more serious.
(Aight, all those misspellings of 'Knapford' should be fixed now)

My own personal take on why Rosie repainted herself red. Not exactly an original one, but I like this idea. Rosie, the victim of a very unfortunate accident, finds herself stuck in the steamworks for a long time. A very long time. All the while, Victor is there. A calm, friendly voice that keeps her grounded during the worst part of her life.
When the time comes to repaint her coat, she makes a big decision.

Summary
Every time Duncan drives out onto that viaduct at night, he swears he sees that terrifying ghost engine. Sometimes, he even sees it trying to cross the bridge only to never make it. He's fed up with dealing with it and decides there's only one thing for it.
He's going to help that ghost train get home.
