Summary
After Avid's betrayal of the town, everyone starts bickering. The town's doctor leaves, needing some time to himself. While he's out he decides to see if it's possible to get through the fog surrounding the area. His attempt is unsuccessful, and he nearly freezes to death. He wakes up in the castle with two vampires that are eager to care for him and refuse to accept his view that he doesn't deserve to be loved.
What he'll never know is that they don't have plans of letting him go.

Poob and Pest have an amazing relationship. They don't mind his preferences when it comes to what he likes to eat because he doesn't only eat people and he's a really good cook, especially when it comes to their comfort foods. But he ends up getting arrested and implicated with a recent heist. They visit him in jail and he asks if they can make him something from his cookbook. When they find his storage unit empty, they end up taking drastic measures.

Summary
Pest is falsely arrested for something he didn't do. Poob doesn't take it well and begins to spiral. At first, they just fall into a depression, but after Folly manages to get them outside for a few hours and gets them to start feeling better, they start spiralling in a different way. During a visit with Pest, he asks them to cook and bring him some human meat. There isn't any in reserves, so Poob ends up needing to go hunting. They manage to catch someone and lose their sanity even more as they dismember the meat. While cooking, they decide to try it, and they find it quite enjoyable.

After being in rounds all day, Noli is tired and just wants to cuddle with his partner. But when he gets to the survivor's main cabin, he can't find them. After asking around, he finds out that they've already fled to their cabin. Apparently with an armful of bedding, and they've also been making trips back and forth, slowly gathering all the bedding in the main cabin. Not wanting to go to the cabin with permission, he waits in the foyer for them to make another trip for more bedding. When they come back for more supplies, he follows them out to the cabin and discovers that they've started to nest. With their permission, she helps them finish its nest.

One day, he gets home from work more exhausted than usual. That night is the same routine. He wakes up at some point during the night and is stuck in sleep paralysis again. But this time something actually happens.

He tries to escape on his before night falls and the spider wakes up, but that only results in him getting even more stuck. When night does eventually fall, Amarah wakes to find a butterfly caught in her web. He tries to convince her to let him go, but they find him rather cute and decide to keep him.

Then one day while they're out at sea, they meet a siren, and it's love at first sight. They're warned against pursuing him, of course. It's well known that those who fall with sirens end up dead, but they can't help themself.

Gubby sneaks out of his cage and finds a potion. He decides to knock over on Two Time without knowing what it does. Two Time ends up as a bunny that looks eerily similar to Gubby, but Mafioso knows it's not his rabbit. Knowing his partner has a tendency to get themself turned into animals, Mafioso quickly figures out what's happened and takes care of them until they turn back.

Two Time is sick. And they don't have much longer to live. What life they do have left is spent in pain. Amarah wants to end their pain, but they refuse to let anyone besides Azure do it. Azure resists at first. He doesn't want to lose the love of his life. But he also can't bear to see them suffer. But letting go is hard, especially when you're the one taking their life away.

Jamie is new to the cult. The Lamb keeps saying that her past can't hurt her anymore, but that doesn't stop the nightmares. That damned patch of buttercups isn't helping much either. Those awful yellow petals haunt her dreams as much as the crack of the whip does. The traumatized yellow cat is feral and hostile towards the rest of the cult. She isn't afraid to use her claws, but what happens when the Lamb puts her in a shelter with the ex-god of chaos? As much as she tries, Jamie for some reason can't bring herself to hate the fluffy green worm as much as she hates the rest of the cultists.
Leshy has been here for a couple months, and while he still hates the place, he's mostly settled into his job on the farm. When the Lamb comes back with a fiesty new follower in tow, Leshy finds himself drawn to the combative yellow feline. He becomes determined to make her his friend and get her to open about the awful past that the yellow buttercups remind her of. He quickly finds himself wanting her to be more than a friend after the Lamb decides Leshy is the best person to help this new recruit settle in. Maybe he can't get her to like the buttercups, but there's no harm in trying out camellias.

Summary
Jonah and Adam attend different high schools despite being best friends. Due to living in different counties, they don't get to see each other very often. However, as they start at their respective high schools, they decide to set up a paranormal investigator club between their schools. For a while, it's just them and one other student. They don't expect to find any actual mysteries to investigate, but Bythorne and Mandela are both incredibly strange counties and shenanigans ensue.
