Before Tanjiro could say another word, his sister was already gone, held up by another man, with his red katana pointed at the demon’s neck. It was missing the kanji on the other man’s sword, but it still was as lethal.

Tanjiro didn’t know what it meant, but he glanced at the man holding his sister. It didn’t look good for him, yet he soon realized where that dread with the man holding his sister was coming from.
He sniffed again, just to make sure, and his stomach turned.
That man, who was holding his sister, had the strong smell of sake coming from his body.
