Sunstorm believes that his luck of sleeping in means that it will be a great start to his precious, and often very rare, day off. He has hopes of keeping to himself and maybe getting even with his spicy Conjunx. What he doesn't put into the equation is his brother's sudden happiness, nor does he think twice about it. Until an angry Soundwave calls him and demands his help in saving the Nemesis from some hijackers and returning it to high-ranking Decepticon officials before either Megatron finds out or the Aerialbots shoot them down. How unfortunate it is that Sunstorm finds himself at bitter odds with his sole Trine-mate and his merry gang of troublemakers.

Summary
Sunstreaker is called to investigate a peculiar mission regarding an Autobot escape pod having fallen from the Earth's upper atmosphere and landing in an obscure valley of a nearby National Park. He heads to the coordinates as quickly as he can in hopes of getting there before a fire can break out over the dry land. However, on his way, he soon discovers that the Decepticons have also learned of the pod's location and desire to know what's hidden inside. As the flames rise higher, Sunstreaker realises a harrowing ordeal regarding his relationship with the Decepticons, in particular, his friend, Bitstream, who'll have to choose between him and his loyalty to Megatron.

Summary
A storyline set on Earth featuring the Protectobots (w/ Rook) and four other lesser known Autobots and their human allies coming into conflict with a Decepticon science team stationed on Earth. This is a series intended to give some B and C listers the spotlight, as it always bothered me that it was the Leaders and heavy hitters of both factions stationed on Earth.
More popular characters will pop up sporadically and things will escalate over time. Features a human protagonist, but he isn't the main concern, though I have come up with a reason for him to hang around and learn a lot of the series lore very quickly and keep somewhat relevant/not a nuisance. My main concern here is the Cybertronian characters.
Hopefully, the first entry in an ongoing series. Rated M because I don't like to hold back when I decide to do something.

And now…” Megatron gestured at Starscream, as if there were some meaning to be read from his waxed and polished exterior. “There’s quite a bounty on your head. On your trinemates too. Surely there is more that draws you to the Decepticon cause than just running the numbers.”
“If you want a fanatic, look somewhere else,” Starscream snapped. He admired Megatron, and his writing, but he wasn’t going to grovel for a chance at the brand.
“I want honesty,” Megatron grinned. “You could get a cushy position in any Autobot lab, or take one of the transports leaving Cybertron every breem, even with your checkered past. But you chose not to. I want you to admit why.”
