Dean swallowed hard. Shit. There was nothing he wanted to do less than putting his hand into the beehive. “Nah, I’m just gonna watch you do it for now. Wouldn’t wanna damage anything, you know…”
Cas just rolled his eyes. “You won’t. The frames are sturdy, and if you only grab onto the wood, the combs won’t be harmed in any way.”
Yeah, Dean wasn’t really worried about the wax being harmed. It didn’t seem like he had a choice, however. Cas was watching him expectantly, and if Dean didn’t wanna fess up right now that he wasn’t the bee-fan he’d pretended to be, he’d have to man up and pick up the damn frame.- - -
Dean is once again helping Cas with his bees. How long will he be able to keep up the pretense of liking them, before it will all come crashing down?

Summary
Castiel leaned over the hood of the car. The make-up of the engine didn’t make any more sense to him the second time. As he straightened up again, he accidentally hit his head against the opened hood, hard. “Ow!” With a cry of pain he stumbled backwards, one hand cupping the back of his head.
“Cas?!”
The sudden sound of Dean’s voice had him whirling around, one hand still clutching his head, the other instinctively grabbing back to steady himself. In doing so, he bumped against the frame of the car. The sudden jolt dislodged the lifting jack under the car, and suddenly, it was slipping off and one side crashed down, the other still caught it’s hinges.
His face burned in embarrassment.

Dean had done so much for him; put so much work into getting comfortable with the bees just for Castiel’s sake. He wanted to do something for him in return.
In retrospect, fixing up the car when he’d never done anything like that before, hadn’t been the best idea…

After around two months of helping his boyfriend with his bees, Dean has grown much more comfortable around the little creatures, and is more than ready to spend the next three days making honey with him.
