"Stop fighting," growled one of the men into Hiccup's ear, "You're ours, now, dragon boy. You've lost."
"Fuck you," Hiccup snarled in return. He was kicked again for his words, and felt as rope was quickly wrapped tightly around his arms and legs, despite his continued struggles.
Suddenly, a familiar roar sounded out.
Toothless. And he sounded *mad.*

Hiccup shook his head. He'd expected this pain, and he'd expected the guilt that would come from the one causing it. He was trying to react to the pain as little as possible, as to not distress his friend even further.
"Fishlegs, it's okay. You're helping me. It's not your fault I got hurt."
"I know, but..." Fishlegs took a breath, and pushed the needle through the wound on Hiccup's bicep once more, starting another stitch.

Snotlout. He hated him. He *hated* him. Hiccup already knew he was small, weak, so why did Snotlout constantly feel the need to remind him of that inescapable fact? Hiccup already knew he wasn't much of an heir, wasn't much of a viking at all, but his larger cousin always seemed to have it out for him regardless.

He scratched at the hands circling his neck, tried to kick the Hunter Chief away, but it was no use. He was already winded from fighting the hunters manning this ship, and his struggling now was only making it worse.

He bad been tortured, whipped horribly, by Krogan. He didn't want the other riders to know about it. They'd only ask questions, get angry on his behalf, and he just... couldn't. He couldn't deal with that right now. Not when he felt so awful, so hurt. Not when it was his own fault he got hurt.
