Complications mean inefficiency.
Complications mean risk.
But Kai's relationship with his Tech isn't complicated. In fact, it's one of the least complicated things in his life, which is why he trusts her to aid him with his most recent injury.
Even if said injury is in his mouth and requires a more intimate angle to access. Even if they find themselves closer than he could have imagined.
Everything's fine. It always is.
