Summary
Even though Telemachus knows his father is likely dead, he still waits for him on the beach every morning. His world is turned upside down when he meets Poseidon on the beach, waiting for someone as well. Telemachus bonds quickly with his unlikely teacher. Meanwhile, Poseidon is determined to use his new influence to poison the royal family against Odysseus while he is trapped with Calypso. However, as the years pass, the god realizes that his calculated interest in the boy and his mother has transformed into something wholly different.
And those feelings might just change everything.
This is an au where Athena is so devastated by the Cyclops Saga that she never reaches out to the royal family, leaving a void that is filled by Poseidon. It is a remix of "The Sea Prince of Ithaca" by che1re.
