Summary
Years of time change us, like water erodes stone, shaping us into who we are.
Time has greatly altered our beloved characters and how they see and interact with the world. Getting older takes its toll, but also gives room for us to reform in the ways we see fit.A metamorphosis is coming.
Dash Baxter is in an extremely dark time in his life, changing as he analyzes himself and others in an attempt to be a better person. Danny Fenton is also going through some struggles, his fragile self-esteem reminding him of every shortcoming. Both young men land themselves closer to the other than they'd usually prefer, and shenanigans ensue. How do they navigate a budding friendship, after all they've been through prior? What more is going on between them?

SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 9!!
' She can’t help her mind wandering though, back to a topic that’s been a frequent visitor in her mind for weeks now, relentlessly pounding against her skull.
Caine had come up to them two months prior, practically glitching with excitement, sharing that they may be able to potentially heal abstraction. He wasn’t positive, but he’d been working closely in the digital files of the Circus lately, giving himself something to do in between their regular activities. He found that the files of their lost friends still existed, but were corrupted, damaged, though fixable, if he was looking at it correctly at least. He couldn’t promise anything, but he had hope that they could actually do something.
This had caused excitement to rise within the group, eyes sparkling and discussion rampant. Voices had overlapped each other, and Pomni couldn’t help the heaviness on her chest of their most recent cast member lost lightening a bit at the positivity of the group, eyes drifting to the large circus tent he resided in most days, when he wasn’t in the aquarium with the others. Summary
Danny Fenton: protector, ghost, and college drop out. Still living at home and burnt out, Danny is barely hanging on to any sense of normalcy. It doesn't help that he doesn't feel safe at home- or anywhere for that matter. Too much to do, too many duties, and not enough time to do any of it.
Dash Baxter: reformed bully, self-taught cook, and Casper High School's newest gym teacher. He never thought he would be moving back to Amity Park, but with his mother newly divorced and their relationship improving, Dash is giving the town another chance. Maybe he can settle down.
Amity Park isn't big enough to keep Danny and Dash apart for too long- and Dash soon finds himself trying to keep Danny from imploding in on himself.

Summary
In the end, Alex got everything he wanted. The stars aligned for him in ways he wasn't aware were possible. However, despite the stars, it's beginning to seem as though the things he wanted don't quite align with each other.
Kenny, on the other hand, got Alex. That was all he needed. At least, for a little while. It takes a village, though. A village that is quickly dwindling before his eyes. What he needs now, is for everyone to come home. It's a shame that the fish are always happier in the sea.
