Summary
He remembers how it goes.
Iwaizumi, aged five, meets Oikawa, also aged five. It's a normal sunny day; and in welcoming their new neighbors, Iwaizumi inevitably gets shuffled over to meet the Oikawas and their son. Their son, who's regretfully one of the biggest brats he would ever meet. (Unfortunately, Iwaizumi doesn't know that at the time, or he would've ran the moment he spotted Oikawa bouncing over.)

Summary
The Killing Curse struck twice.
Green light split the graveyard and The-Boy-Who-Lived fell with the spare. For a breathless, suspended second, there was silence. Then, something ancient turned its head.
Death had not been consulted.
When Cedric Diggory’s body inhaled again, it was not with the soul that had left it.
Across the grass, Lord Voldemort smiled because he did not yet understand that he had made a different kind of mistake.

One mistake causes irreparable damage.
Harry Potter, Fourth Triwizard Champion, falls in the first task. He is injured past the point of survivability but for some reason he simply cannot die. And Lord Voldemort, who never backs down from a challenge, becomes obsessed with solving the problem of Harry Potter once and for all. He will do the impossible-not destroy the boy, no, but remake him.

Summary
Kakashi jumped to his feet with a snarl. He did not know of a genjutsu that could fool the sharingan—would not have believed it to be possible. But here, in this illusion that was so elaborately built and powerfully enacted, not only did his borrowed sharingan fail to dispel the illusion but it made him believe that he was still five, that his father just died, that Kakashi did not possess the sharingan at all.
This was not his nightmare, the copy-nin realized with growing horror. This was every shinobi's nightmare.
Kakashi was compromised.

Summary
The crux of the matter is that Kakashi’s old. By the time he finally gives up the hat, he’s nearly forty and growing older, and while he’s faced death too many times to still remember to fear it, he certainly thinks about it. He can’t help it. He blames the Nidaime — staring at Senju Tobirama’s reanimated face reminds Kakashi of everything that will die with him: his clan, their history, an entire generation. The realization leaves him unsettled, and as his body starts to ache more and more, he finds himself wishing for a world in which he isn’t so alone.
Or, Kakashi returns to the Hatake compound in an attempt to speak with his ancestors and promptly forgets that the Hiraishin is, above all else, an experimental time/space jutsu. By activating it, he finds himself in a world not quite like his own.

Summary
Sakumo Hatake has killed more men than he can count. He's prepared to add one more to the tally — even if that one is a child with too-big eyes and a scarf pulled up to his nose.
Then Sakumo smells pack.
Would it really be that bad for him to have two sons?
