Summary
Azul nearly dropped the teacup he was placing down. He considered himself someone who was able to keep his calm in most alarming situations but right now his expression gave away to his clear shock, eyes wide with disbelief as he stared at the boy sitting on his private study couch.
“Would you mind repeating that?”
“I came to offer an equivalent exchange in order to receive your permission to court Floyd.”
“C-” Azul choked on the syllable.
Riddle comes to Azul with an offer and ends up getting far too many people involved in the whole ordeal.

Ruggie pushed himself upright with his palms, sitting cross-legged on the uneven concrete. “Okay, let’s try this again.”
He held out his hands to the boy, palms facing upwards, and the boy slid his own into his. Ruggie felt a tingle dance up his forearms at the contact, and he let out a snicker. “Step one, done. Now, for two—” he jabbed a finger to his own chest “—I’m Ruggie. Ruggie Bucchi. And you are?”
The boy simply stared at him with those wide, cherry eyes for a little longer before his gaze darted away, almost shy. “I’m Kalim. Kalim al-Asim.”

Summary
In some curious, disillusioned way, Kalim was like a birthmark to him. A little reminder that he was loved, a little bird that spurred him to keep waking up in the mornings, a little drop of sunlight to keep him warm, another little reason to smile.
A little someone he wanted to at least try to aim for forever with.
But for now, Ruggie grinned. “So now I have three hearts.” He tapped a finger to his chest. “One here.” He tapped his elbow next. “Another one here.”
Then he leaned forward to boop Kalim’s nose. “And my favourite one right here.”
— it’s a lazy free period together, and kalim spots a birthmark on ruggie’s elbow.
