Summary
The window of the drop ship is a nice touch. Expensive one too, which makes him wonder if it’s part of the game he’ll be playing. It’s enough to make him focus, map potential routes, and jolt some life into his old bones. He takes note of the planet’s three continents; even manages to locate the three main cities the planet boasts of. Of course there must be other settlements, but it’s a new world and his eyes can only focus on so much at once. Ordinarily he’d just accept sit back and accept his fate, but this new master has been kind. He can make it fun for the newly crowned King Jayce of Lamia.
Viktor's had a long, illustrious 'career' as a personal pet, and has seen more of the settled galaxy than most other people. When his previous master dies leaving no heir, it's understandable that it's time for his long overdue decommission. What isn't understandable, is why the new King of a backwater planet would take such a personal interest in seeing it done.

Summary
Travelling to the City had always been a rare treat, ever since Claggor accompanied Vander as a lad. Mousey’s hooves clattering against stone instead of dirt was the quietest rise in volume, almost lost to the din of more people than the tavern would see in a year. It could be overwhelming, the domesticated smell of life compared to the richness in the forest he’d just left, but it was life nonetheless and it always filled his heart with no small measure of glee. The world remained oblivious to his awe, and soon the wagon was swallowed into the swollen flow of traffic into the market district.
Claggor returns from the city with supplies for the tavern he runs in his fathers' absence with a little more than he bargained for.

Tim's stood to attention when Raylan opens his eyes. ‘Aggressively still’, he might tease if either of them were in the mood. An unnatural forcing of a body that wants - no, needs to move. It looks exhausting.

Viki is a vision, worth waiting a lifetime for, let alone the five minutes he needed to set up. It’s knelt by the bed, the frame Jayce built holding it in perfect position, head down so the soft waves cover its face. The hand-forged golden chain snakes from beneath its legs, slack against the floor and hooked onto the ring built into the bedframe.

Summary
Jayce had never been more comfortably warm in his bed, and the fact that his alarm had yet to sound but somehow he was awake made him even more determined to enjoy the sensation. He’d always ran too hot, the fire of the forge burnt strong in him his Papa had teased, but for some reason the heat was pleasant, even with the duvet managing to stay in position the whole night. As sensations slowly began to wake up, he scoffed when he realised that again he’d ended up hugging the pillow in his sleep, and tried to ignore the little voice in the back of his head that reminded him of how long it’d been since he’d gotten laid.
To his horror, the pillow shifted in his arms and he threw himself back, crashing into the cold wall behind him. When his vision finally settled, he nearly pinched himself at the sight.

They certainly didn’t vote, had no say in Pyotr’s future career, and no one would fault him for hurting one of the bitches. It didn’t mean he had to be any more cruel to that tortured little thing.
