Steve looks at his reflection in the mirror, face red and splotchy, eyes wide and frantic, hair slicked with sweat. He hangs his head in frustration at his panicked state. Why can’t he just get past this? No one else in the party seems to struggle with nightmares as severely as he does, and Steve wasn’t even the one who dealt with the worst of it. Sure, he’s fought more than his fair share of hellish creatures and Russians, but that’s nothing compared to what El’s been through. Or Will, or Max, or any of the kids, honestly. They’re still just kids and have been through hell and back. He’s supposed to be the strong one, the one they can come to with their struggles, not the one struggling.

“Why do I always feel like every minute with you is an accident waiting to happen?” Steve asks rhetorically—because they both know it’s true. The only person even more accident-prone than Eddie is maybe Buckley, and Steve swears he loses at least five years of his life every time they’re all together.
Eddie’s pretty sure Steve enjoys rescuing him way too much to mean the annoyance.
Case in point: the gentle hand cupping the side of his face, and the amused twinkle in Steve’s smiling eyes that accompanies his words.
“No idea. But if I die choking on this beauty”—he palms Steve over his jeans—“know I died doing what I love.”
Without much further ado, Eddie finally gets Steve’s jeans open and shoves them down to just above his knees, freeing the prettiest dick the world—or at least Eddie—has ever seen.
Or, Steve and Eddie finally got their act together and are happily in love. This means that Eddie can have his wicked way with Steve whenever he wants. Even before one of Corroded Coffin's soundchecks.

It’s been a long road getting here. Steve’s been pitching for the Cubs for three years, and Eddie’s been by his side through it all. They came up together in the minors and were lucky enough to both get snatched up by their dream team. The Dynamic Duo they’ve been called. Both young corn-fed Indiana boys, making it to the majors together, and working as the perfect pair. They’re completely in sync with each other. They have each other’s backs through thick and thin. Nobody works as well together as they do.

Avoiding the bathrooms at school is easy most of the time. If he has to go, he goes to the one in the gym that’s kept clean for any parents who come to basketball and volleyball games.
But today, he’s trying to hide a black eye, and the makeup he stole from his mom’s makeup drawer is fading already. He doesn’t know how she always looks like it’s painted on, but he must’ve done it wrong for him to need to reapply before lunch.
The gym bathroom’s one problem is it’s never empty, and he really doesn’t need anyone seeing him putting on makeup. He’s gonna have to settle for the second floor science wing bathroom. Only one of the toilets in it works and it’s known as the place to go if you need a smoke during class or for a quickie in the stall.
That’s the rumor, at least.
