“Come on K, let’s go.” Flo’s complaints were belied by her fanged grin. “Stand around like that and even little Dicky over there’ll end up laying more rail than you.”
“There’s a train coming.” Karlach replied even as she lifted her hammer again.
“There’s always a train coming and going.” Flo’s hands moved to punctuate her point. “Delivering rail and fresh blood and whatever the hell else, what do you care?”
