He wanted to take this moment right here, with their scents surrounding him and their voices murmuring a familiar melody and bottle it up, make it into a candle, record it on a tape. He’d stared at them with wide eyes, the closest to panicked Adam had ever seen him, and when Gansey had said “But--it’s Blue and Adam--” Ronan had snarled and snapped “Get out, I don’t fucking know you.”
