“Do you know that dude?” Soobin leans over and whispers.
“Not really.” Hueningkai answers truthfully, looking everywhere but at Soobin and the person he is asking about.
“Then why is he glaring at you?”
“I...” Hueningkai trails off and pauses, not exactly sure what to say. Because he doesn’t know why. Why is someone he only just met briefly glaring at him like he offended his entire family and honor?

Hueningkai is freaking out and wondering why a certain customer keeps glaring at him (Taehyun can barely see because he broke his glasses and is wondering why a certain barista keeps ducking behind the counter when he looks over)

They think he’s in on it.

“You will. But not yet. Just…” Another sigh. “Keep your head down. It'll be easier for all of us.”
“Easier?” He can hear how his voice pitches up. “You're going to keep me here against my will, and I'm just supposed to– You kidnapped me!”
The sharp guy in the corner bristles. “Accidentally.”
Soobin’s breath punches out of his chest in an incredulous laugh.
Or; Soobin sees something he shouldn't and becomes the unwilling passenger on a smuggling run, stuck with a crew that distrusts him and promises to let him go home eventually.
But eventually turns out to be long enough to change too much.

Summary
Taehyun has always held Yeonjun in a different light. In his heart, he carved a space for him before he even knew the walls were down. Bright-eyed teenager being taken under the wing of one who possessed everything he wanted to be, who soon turned into everything he wanted to cherish.
Taehyun will always seek out Yeonjun in every way possible.
And that's the problem, isn't it? In every way, Taehyun will seek Yeonjun. Through words, through time, through touch. But Yeonjun isn't like that, not with Taehyun. Taehyun knows Yeonjun loves him with every word, with every kind gesture, with every moment spent in his presence, there is love.
But he yearns for the warmth of skin against skin and a beating heart of the other pressed against his ear. He yearns for something tangible, and it's selfish, so selfish. But when has he not been selfish about Yeonjun?

Goosebumps erupt on his skin. That shouldn't sound as erotic, or make him feel as salacious as it does. Soobin is sick, utterly perturbed.
"Well, do you want to lay a hand on me now?"
In an attempt to forget about the unrequited feelings for his close friend, Soobin sleeps somebody else in their friend group—the person he would least want to be intimate with, but it happens anyway.
