That should be enough, he thinks.
Taehyun waits for Beomgyu to say ‘cut!’ like he usually does when they do this. But silence falls over them instead. Not the kind that signals a missed line, but one that crackles.
Beomgyu’s gaze flicks down again, his breathing slightly shallow. Then—
“No, your voice has to be rougher. Again.”
Taehyun doesn’t say anything as he says the line again. Yet, it doesn’t seem to satisfy the omega as his face remains blank as he stares into Taehyun.
“Again, Taehyun.”
“What?”
“Say it like you’re fucking pissed at me.”

“So what can I do?” He gripped onto the cable to hold himself steady. “I have nowhere else to go.”
Hanbin paused, as if he needed to think about it. As if he hadn’t approached Zhang Hao for this very reason. “You can come with me,” he offered. “I’m leaving Seoul behind. I’m going to see what there is outside of the cities.”
The steel creaked in his hand. “And you think that will work instead?”
Hanbin’s smile broadened. He was quite handsome, Zhang Hao realised. “What’s the harm in trying?”
At the end of the world, he finds hope.

Summary
Hanbin laughs, dimples briefly carving into his cheek like whisker marks. Hao finds himself staring, longer than he probably should. If he were a more romantic man, he thinks, he’d say something ridiculous about always trying to make Hanbin laugh just to see that dimple again. Determination twists his mouth, though there’s a new, bright spark in his eyes. “I’m in,” he says, voice rough. “Let’s do this.”
