Louis is fine. He just happens to walk to the suicide bridge of Bristol at least once a week, just happens to be dealing with a lot of anxiety, and just happens to be done with life. But he's fine.
Everything is just fine until a mysterious guy starts showing up every time he tries to kill himself, and he should be very scared, but he's somehow very glad to have company. Until he's not.
AU where Louis tries to kill himself multiple times but he's not very good at it, Harry keeps showing up out of nowhere, and maybe life isn't as bad as it looks sometimes.

“You’ve been avoiding me for two years,” Harry said suddenly, voice low but sharp, like he’d been holding it in too long.
Louis’ shoulders locked instantly. His fingers curled slightly at his sides. “Don’t.”
“Right. We don’t talk about it. That’s the rule, isn’t it?”
Louis met his eyes for half a second. That was all it took. Too much history lived there.
“Ten nights,” Louis said instead, tone deliberately neutral. “We ignore each other. Problem solved.”After going on a school trip to France, Louis and Harry get stuck sharing a hotel room despite not speaking for two years. They try to pretend nothing happened, but when Harrys bed breaks and they're forced to share one bed being close makes everything harder. Old feelings and old fights start coming back.
Or: maybe Louis has been running from the truth longer than he wants to admit
