Summary
“Am I really that boring?” The question floats in the air. A mixture of genuine concern and cheekiness.
Lando wants to tell Oscar he’s never boring. He wants to say he’s one of the most interesting and intriguing people he has ever met. He wants to hear all of Oscar’s stories and thoughts. Instead he settles with a coward: “That's what makes you special.” Because teasing and joking are his coping mechanisms when his feelings get in the way. Something about trying to not be too vulnerable in front of people.
