Andrew eyes the trail of crimson. “You’re still bleeding.”
“I’m not staying here,” the merman snarls, giving Andrew a glare that would kill lesser, unaccustomed men. Andrew ignores it because he gets that look all the time.
But it gives Andrew a glimpse of just how blue the merman’s eyes are—a color so deep and alluring, he has to rack his brain to remember if merfolk’s eyes having hypnotizing qualities.
