"And?" He asks tiredly, manages to make a circle in the air with his hand before it flops back down to the ground uselessly. "I'm willing to bet anything that I've loved you since our first real meeting, even if I cannot recall it."
Mydei considers him carefully for a long moment. An unreadable look crosses his face before he shakes it off. "You are hopeless," he says quietly.
Phainon smiles, a smaller but no less genuine expression. Mydei's gaze snaps to his lips, and Phainon revels in the knowledge that his eyes haven't left him once, even after their battle ended. He hums happily. "Perhaps so."
or; Phainon loses his memory, and is convinced he is dating Mydei. Upon finding out he isn't, he makes attempts at courting.

“She was born premature,” Mydei said quietly, “Hyacine said there may be some difficulties in her development.”
Phainon stared at Eleni's face, and already knew he would do anything for her.
“Don't worry,” he promised Mydei, “We'll take care of her. We'll give her the best life we can.”
Or, Phainon and Mydei are blessed with a daughter. She exists in some cycles. She doesn't in others.

“I see,” Phainon’s voice was quiet. “So you're leaving."
“Yes,” Mydei confirmed, “That’s the plan. But if something calls me to stay, I will. In a heartbeat,” he met Phainon's gaze, seeming almost hopeful, “Castrum Kremnos can wait. After all, it’s not going anywhere.”
Phainon only half-registered the words.
At the end of the road, Phainon receives news that Mydei is leaving Okhema for good just as a gift from the Trailblazers shows him a glimpse of his future.
It's not as bleak as he thought it'd be.
