“Hey, we should stick together.” Karlach says, placing a hand on Shadowheart's shoulder. "Don't want to get even more separated out here. That means you, fangs.”
Astarion scoffs and flaps for a moment, then reluctantly goes to rejoin them, grumbling all the way. Karlach manages to ruffle his hair once before he pulls back, hissing dramatically like her hands still burn. His theatrical complaints about his precious hairstyle mingle with the girls' laughter, even as they move away together, up the stairs.
Turmeric can't remember hearing them laugh like that since they entered the shadow-cursed lands. Maybe it's her absence that encourages it.

An alternative arc to Act 2, where a self-doubting Tav, with history in the shadow-cursed lands, begins to consider what benefit she really offers to the team, and what greater benefit there may be if she was no longer part of it. Quite dark in places, but with some comedy elements, and a lot of whole team friendship that I feel like we didn't get to see enough of in game. Please Read The Tags!

“Tch,” He continued to flip through his pictures, some edited, some not, but finally came to a stop when he landed on his best–and arguably his most annoying–friend. It was from the school festival, towards the end of the last night, and she was just smiling. Not looking at anyone or anything particular, but just smiling with what Katsuki thought was pure and genuine joy. He couldn’t understand looking at the picture later as to why he would even take something like that. It was just reflex, the atmosphere was just right for that shot, but something kept nagging him.
Or
Katsuki thought their last summer before senior year was going to be the most memorable yet, but didn't realize what would make it memorable until it was happening.

A brief silence.
“‘Type?’” Izuku questioned at the same time as Kacchan.
“Yes, type,” the host laughed. “Like, who would they date? What are they into?”
The blood drained from Izuku’s face and he shot a panicked look at Kacchan. The blond didn’t seem to be faring any better, his gaze zeroed in on Hanazawa as if he could will her to change the question to something else.
Izuku... didn't know the answer to that.

She's wearing a white, double-breasted blazer with a high collar and a gold trim that reaches halfway down her thighs, its sleeves elbow-length and cut off by wide pale blue cuffs, a large green bow at her neck, a dark blue long-sleeved shirt with matching dress pants, white gloves with green X's across her gloves' wrist straps, and white boots. The uniform is from Seiai Academy, except for the bow's color, But why is she here?
