Summary
For three whole months, Shinsou had managed to hide that a villain with a powerful mind control quirk had not only captured him and his teacher, but that the villain had also used his quirk to force Aizawa to rape and beat him. Worse, the villain also made Aizawa forget the entire incident, leaving Shinsou to deal with the aftermath all on his own.
And Shinsou does. Because telling the truth of who really hurt him would destroy Aizawa and that's the last thing he wants to happen. So Shinsou suffers for three long months of lying about what happened, three months of pretending he was fine, three months of trying to protect Aizawa from learning what really happened that night.
But when the truth suddenly comes out, rendering all of Shinsou's efforts in vain, Aizawa must find a way to deal with the fact that he was the one who hurt his student and Shinsou must find a way to deal with the fallout of his lies.
Summary of the story so far in Chapter 30 (if you want to skip the angst).
Reading Part 1 is recommended but not 100% necessary. Anime spoilers for season 4, no manga spoilers.

Summary
When Izuku was 8, his father stumbled through the front door of their apartment covered in blood. And then all of a sudden, his father was in his life, and it was wonderful. When Izuku was 9 his mother died, and he discovered he had a quirk. His father's quirk, All for One. When Izuku was 10, he and his father met Yagi Toshinori, and he had a friend. When Izuku was 14 he discovered Yagi-san was All Might, and Izuku inherited his quirk. One for All. When Izuku is 15 the League of Villains step onto the scene. When Izuku is 15 he falls in love.
When Izuku is 16, everything goes horribly, horribly wrong.

Said All for One is a 200-year-old supervillain with a quirk of the same name that takes and gives quirks." He turned to Izuku. "And you are his son. You inherited this ‘fuck you’ powerful ass quirk?" Finally, he turned toward Toshinori. "And you saw Deku, knew he had a godlike quirk, and said, ‘Hey you know what’s better than one godlike quirk? Two godlike quirks!' And you gave it to Deku."

You arched a brow, the corner of your lips twitching. “Using my words against me now, Shoto?”
The boy had to pause for a moment and let the sound of your voice saying his first name ricochet in his mind. Something about it was so different from the way you said ‘Todoroki’, the name tied to his family, his father. When you said his first name you were talking to him and only him.
He felt selfish for wanting to hear you say it again, over and over.
