Summary
“Ow!” The Doctor snaps. “Don’t do that again.”
“Then stop falling asleep. This isn’t the time for a nap.” The Master huffs.
She rolls her eyes. “I’m not napping. I’m in shock. I have an iron rod through my shoulder!”
“You wouldn’t have if you hadn’t leveled the building in the first place! What were you thinking? You weren’t even running! You wouldn’t even get under the table with me!”
The Doctor and the Master end up trapped in a collapsing building together, the Doctor injured and trapped by a metal support beam.

Summary
It’s been a long time since the Doctor was last in this place, and she wishes that it could've been longer. She never wanted to see it again.
The Shada.
She grabs her sonic and gets to work on the control panel, making a point of not thinking about what she can't feel from the other side of the pod. Of course there's no mind there, no presence, nothing but empty silence. It's a good thing, too, because it's been years since this particular person was placed within this so-called cabinet. To be aware of it would be... horrible.
She looks... not at all like she's asleep. The Doctor has seen her sleep so many times before, and it’s never looked like this. She looks nothing like Missy.
Following the events of the Doctor Falls, Missy goes to Gallifrey in an effort to survive. There, after healing, she is sent to be held in cryogenic stasis in the Shada. At least until the Doctor finds herself in need of some help.

Summary
This is not a good idea.
The Doctor can’t help the little voice in the back of his head that tells him that he should be focusing on the ships up in the sky. The problem is that when he tries to focus on the ships up in the sky, that little voice tells him that he should be focusing on Asset 342, because Asset 342 is linked to all of this somehow.
Asset 342 knows something, at least, of the same stories that the Doctor does. That can’t be a coincidence, and in it not being a coincidence, it has to be relevant.
Or maybe he just wants it to be relevant.
The Master manages to escape in the Power of the Doctor, and his TARDIS takes him to Earth, where UNIT finds him weak and injured. Several months later, the Doctor starts hearing whispers of a new asset at UNIT.

Summary
“Do you ever think about it?” asks the Master. “Our regeneration? Whether we got it right?”
The Doctor shrugs. “Sometimes. But we’re still who we are, aren’t we? Even if we got our names wrong. We can’t escape what we were meant to be.”
“Can’t we?” The Master raises an eyebrow at him.
After regenerating and losing their memories to regeneration sickness, the Doctor and the Master make a guess at who is who. The results are less than accurate.

Summary
A sigh, and the Doctor finally turns around.
The Master is watching her with a curious expression, one she can’t quite read. It changes the moment he notices her watching, though, lips pulling into a grin, eyes shining with something she wants to call a twisted version of joy.
“Glad to see I’ve made such an impression,” he says. “What, you don’t want to bunk with your oldest friend anymore?”
“I’d rather be in here with anyone else,” she spits.
The Doctor gets a cellmate.
