    After getting kidnapped and nursed back to health by a human, Mobei-jun has come to the unfortunate conclusion he has been conned into a marriage. In the human's defense, he did repeatedly ask for his consent or what Mobei-jun is willing to presume was a request for consent. Oddly courteous behavior for a bridenapping.

    "A beverage was shared, along with hair combing prior? This mentor is loathe to confirm, but it does sound as if that human is now your wife."

    "Wife." Mobei-jun presumed the human preferred him to be the wife from the near constant feminine pronouns he kept using in reference to this prince. "Not husband."

    The old man shook his head. "Humans prefer their wives to be servile and submissive. They are a peculiar sort."

    [Summary: Shang Qinghua is really bad at speaking Ice Demon Language, and Mobei-jun is even worse at speaking Human. It doesn't help that no one in the North actually understands how human weddings work. Fortunately for the squishy human, Mobei-jun is reluctantly charmed by how weird and sweet his new wife is.]
