Summary
Somewhere else, a distorted avatar stands at a lamp post, consciousness stretched end to end. Somewhere else, a clown wants to have hot cocoa with his friends, and goes looking for them. Somewhere else, a group of people wait for a bus. But here, under the soft green glow of rotating stars, a frog keeps a secret, and a rabbit refracts, then transforms.

Summary
“Hey, hey,” Luz said softly, “it’s okay Amity. Are you having trouble talking right now? Sometimes I have trouble talking too,” she explained. “It’s okay to not talk. Here–do you wanna borrow the paper I use for glyphs?”
Amity, still shaking, uncurled herself enough to grab the pen and paper. She couldn’t look at Luz, not directly–she looked at Luz’s arms, at her chest, examined her multi-colored leggings and sleeves, looked for stray hairs on her head, anywhere but her eyes.
Luz tried to prompt Amity to use the pen and paper she’d handed off. “You can just write down what you need to say, okay? I can wait as long as you need.”
Amity placed the paper in front of her, then. No one had ever given her the chance to communicate without having to talk before. She played with the pen for a moment, trying to think of what to “say,” anything at all. And then, a quick scribble later, she had a note to pass off to the girl in front of her.
How did you know I can’t talk?

Summary
It wasn’t her fault. Her brain just told her to do these things. Scratch up the mattress and it’ll be a better nest, hiss at the cadet who hurt your friend to scare them off. Each time she let herself go, it felt so right, and yet she’d spent years being punished for it. Until now.

Summary
Weeks after the Life Foundation, having grown accustomed to each other’s company, the relationship between Eddie Brock and the Klyntar symbiote known as Venom has become... rather domestic.
And so, naturally, snuggling on the couch, enjoying each others’ company after dessert, Eddie pets his symbiote and listens to him purr. His other compliments him, tells him they like this, and Eddie, temporarily disregarding his urge not to get too attached, responds in kind.
“Could do this all night, love.” he says with affection.

Summary
A year after Caine's return to their creation, enough progress has been made on all the prerequisite projects: The time has come to bring back those who were lost. Of course not all of them want to return (or stay returned) but those who do? Some of them want to change more than their state of being. One in particular wants to change fundamentally, both as a person by making amends... and in ways they'd never been able to admit until now.
Or: Jax gets to find out just how much legwork she's got to put in to make good, do good, be better... And maybe, just maybe?
Score an absolutely ruinous four-way with the girls of her assorted dreams and nightmares.Bookmarked by quartzrunner

Summary
Where there is a will, there is a way. And there is definitely a way to un-corrupt computer files, and therefore it should definitely be possible to unabstract people. Thus, with Caine's help, the gang construct a plan to start unabstracting people one by one to build the Circus into a large community, starting with Jax. While Kinger and Caine work through the code at a console, Pomni goes back into Jax's mindscape to help him address and unpack his maladaptive thought patterns. Not long thereafter, Jax is tasked with something only he can do— replicating the process on Ribbit. We watch this play out concurrently in present-day sequences of Jax's foray into Ribbit's mindscape (written in present tense) and Pomni's second visit with Jax (written in past tense), unraveling the threads of two troubled psyches by following the trail left by Jax's mistakes.
