Summary
Ilay Riegrow has a secret. Well, not really. It’s just that no one’s specifically asked why he donates so much money to a private research facility. They also have no idea what they're researching there. Ilay does, of course. But, as he said, it’s not really a secret. Though, if anyone asked, he’d likely ignore them rather than answer truthfully. All of this information and knowledge leaves him baffled when Taeui confronts him about the lab because he should not know about it. How does he know about it? Whoever revealed it will undoubtedly suffer, that much is certain. This leads him back to his current predicament because Jeong Taeui is NOT happy with him.
Or: Ilay and Taeui have been together for several years. Shortly after the conclusion of ‘Passion’, Ilay began donating money toward a research facility dedicated to one thing: surrogacy pregnancy with majority genes from two males. It was never meant to be a secret but rather a surprise, and Taeui was never supposed to find out like this.

Before Taeui could intervene, Ilay reached over and lightly tapped a finger against Taeui’s lower abdomen, the gesture casual yet pointed. “This deep? Because I’ve been places in your Appa that you couldn’t even imagine, kid.”
