This is my first ever fic series! There may be errors and mistakes, I am making these fanfics with absolutely no experience whatsoever.

Summary
Nightmare steps closer to investigate. A squirming yellow mass is amongst the forsaken goods. He picks it up tentatively with a tentacle and transfers the mass into his arms.
The weight of it alone confirms his suspicions but he pushes the blanket to the side to see it with his own eyes. It's a human child, with cheeks a blister-like red from being left cruelly in the snow.
In their haste they had abandoned a baby.
