Taki had awoken early that morning in their bed, alone, looking at the koto on the far side of the room. He hadn’t touched it since Harua had died, but he’d sat up that morning, the remnants of the dream of his mother still there, as he murmured to himself, getting dressed hurriedly. “As alive as she had been a month earlier…”

Soulmate tattoos show the first thing your soulmate will ever say aloud to you and San has resented his pick-up line tattoo for years. So, when a drunk Wooyoung hits on him at a party saying the words from his tattoo, San doesn't know what to do. San doesn't want a soulmate and he's not even gay.
Wooyoung has been waiting his entire life for his soulmate, he hasn't even tried dating anyone else. His soulmate tattoo disappeared after a drunken night and he's determined to retrace his steps to find the guy of his dreams. And he's pretty sure tutoring his new acquaintance, San, in the meantime won't turn into a distraction.
