Look, Jason is no idiot, okay? He knows damn well what self-harm is. What it constitutes.
He knows that there are people out there, people who are genuinely suffering, who have only a blade and their thoughts to keep them company. Jason also knows he is not one of those people. Sure, maybe he thinks about slipping his dagger a little past his holster and across his leg, but he never does it. If he doesn’t follow through with his thoughts, then they don't count. If he doesn’t actually take the lighter he keeps next to his Bath and Body Works candles and holds it to the plush skin of his forearm, then he isn’t self harming. He is not a self-harmer.
//Or Jason is having an issue staying clean and people are beginning to notice
