Clark Kent may be able to hide most of his non-human traits, but there are a couple things about him below the belt that are… noticeable. So he’s not exactly the kind of guy with a roster full of sexual partners.
When a partner investigation accidentally reignites a dormant chemistry between friends, Bruce and Clark come to a "pleasurable" agreement. But they miiiiiight just be in over their heads. He sighed to himself and downed the glass of champagne he'd been nursing—non-alcoholic, but enough to convince anyone who might give him a passing glance. He hated this, every time he had to do it. There was one surefire way to derail anyone who began wondering whether maybe Bruce Wayne was doing more than just donating funds to Batman.
His tie hung loose around his neck, shirt unbuttoned to halfway down his chest, laughing too easily, pressing close to everyone he spoke to, whispering in ears, playing the part, until he turned and froze on the spot.
Clark Kent, in his signature ill-fitting suit, stood holding a notebook and pen, staring at him with barely-concealed glee.
Bruce cringed internally. He hated this. He especially hated when it had to be witnessed by someone he actually respected.
or: After a Gala, Bruce and Clark end up in bed together. They're friends, just helping each other out, no strings attached. Which would be great, if Bruce hadn't been halfway to head-over-heels since the day they met.

That feeling his own painfully human fragility frightened him more than he imagined it could; that the knowledge he allowed someone with the power to kill him in seconds this close, every single day, ran counter to everything he had ever stood for, everything he had built himself upon, without Clark hearing regret in every word?
“It wasn’t you.”
”It was my hands.” Clark’s voice cracks.

He’d tried everything he could think of to get Bruce and Alfred’s attention since he became a ghost. But even physically floating through their bodies hadn’t elicited a response.
She laughed. “Crazy, ain’t it? I don’t know if he’s a meta or what, but all the ghosts are talking about him.”
If there was someone out there who could see ghosts… then maybe…
Jason had to find him. “Who is he?”
“He’s known by many names… Veil Walker… Reaper… Half-Pint.”
Jason sputtered. “Half-Pint??”
“That’s the wildest shit. It’s a kid. Like a middle schooler.” Delilah threw out one of her hands. “And he’s out here wandering Gotham every night and chatting up the dead.”
Jason could only stare at her. Processing. A kid who could see ghosts... What was this? The Sixth Sense: Gotham edition??
